Dansk sprog (La lingua danese)

- SUND = sane

- SYND = peccato

- SUNDE = peccare

La seconda serie:

- HEDDER = chiamare

- HADER = odiare (abbastanza diversi i significati mi permetterei di aggiungere umilissimamente)

- HAVDE = avuto

A voi l'ardua sentenza dopo aver visto il video.

English Version

In anticipation of "the Lonely planet" post about Aalborg, take this killer about the Danish language.

Hope the danish that are following (WHO??) will not get offended, but this language really doesn't get in my mind! It's true, sometimes I do not put efforts as I should, but it's hard! Since we foreigners here are all on the same boat, I tried to collect some "depositions" and therefore find bit of relief realizing that not only for me it's hard...

I'm loosing some battles but not the war! The norwegians tease the danish for how they speak and pronunce (the norwegian is itself " a special language", try to imagine then!); they say that the danish speak with a potatoe in their throat!

When somenone in italy ask me "how is the danish language?" I answer: "Do you know german?" A bit harder in the sound..."

In this serie of interviews I asked to some young people to pronunce 4+3 words:

- SON (It should be the O with the "stick" in the middle, but I haven't on my keyboard) = son

- SUND = health

- SYND = pity

- SUNDE = to pity

The second serie:

- HEDDER = to call

- HADER = to hate (quite different are the meanings...I would allow myself to point out very modestly)

- HAVDE = had

To you the final judgment, after having seen the video.

Scusate scusate scusate scusate scusate scusate scusate....

Vero?

Vi prego ditemi che è vero! ;)
